Doris J. Zobel

Funeral services for Doris J. Zobel age 83 of West Point, NE will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in West Point, NE with Pastor John Gierke officiating. A luncheon will follow the service and interment will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Bancroft, NE after lunch. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials may be directed to Bright Horizons or the Orphan Grain Train, both in Norfolk, NE.

Doris passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Franciscan Healthcare in West Point, NE.

Doris Jane Perry Repschlaeger Zobel was born on October 29, 1942 in Shelby, NE to Morris and Elizabeth (Kilgore) Perry. She was baptized on April 7, 1949 and later confirmed on April 14, 1957. Doris graduated from West Point High School in 1960.

On April 28, 1962, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Repschlaeger at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point, NE. Ken passed away on May 26, 1991.

Doris married Gene Zobel on March 12, 1994 at Zion Lutheran Church, rural Bancroft, NE. She was a devoted housewife, and bookkeeper. Her greatest accomplishment was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Doris was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Point, NE.
