Tara Jo Hartigan was born on February 14, 1998 to parents Troy and Heather Hartigan in Mason City, IA. Tara grew up and attended school in Forest City. Tara's life changed for the better at the age of 16 when she gave birth to her pride and joy – her son, Ryllo. Tara would immediately take on a full-time job to help provide for her son. Many of those years were spent working at the local Casey's General Store. Tara devoted her life to Ryllo, and the two were virtually inseparable.

Tara was outgoing, spunky, loving, caring, and funny. Tara was always called "Scrappy" by her dad and her Dad was always called "Scooby" by her. If you were in Tara's corner, you were loved deeply and fiercely by her. Tara was never afraid to say "I Love You," but was also that fiery red-head that told you exactly what was on her mind! Family and friends will miss Tara's one of a kind laugh, her big blue eyes, and her personality – but family will miss Tara's big heart the most.

She is preceded in death by her PopPop, Joseph Budzialek.

Those left to carry on Tara's legacy include her nine year old son, Ryllo Reynolds; mother, Heather Hartigan; father, Troy (Laurie) Hartigan; grandparents, David (Vonis) Hartigan and Brenda Budzialek; siblings, Michael (Sable) Storby, Kristi (Jesse) Silva, and Tyler Hartigan (Sara Hagmann); nieces and nephews, Morgan Brainerd, Scout, and Maddox Storby, Jaxson, Alexander, and Sawyer Silva, Leonardo and Blade Hartigan, Allora Tosevigen, Domanick and Debbie Hagmann; aunts and uncles, Stacie (Traci) Tweeten, Eric Budzialek and Andrew Budzialek; cousins, Jacob (Mary) Tweeten, Jessica (Erik) Vaage, and Jonathon Bell; boyfriend, Ryan Williams and his children, Trinity and Nicholas.

Blessed be her memory.
