Brandon Strobaugh Obituary

Alger - Brandon William Strobaugh born in Santa Barbara, CA on December 21, 1981, passed away on October 17, 2022. He went to John Muir in Kirkland, moved to Conway in 1994, then went on to Mount Vernon High School where he still holds the highest scoring of soccer goals in the history of MV High! He received a college scholarship at Skagit Valley College where he graduated. Brandon was an extravert, always found good in everyone. He would help anyone in need. I mean anyone. His magnetic and charismatic personality pulled you towards him. With every hello he gave a smile and a hug. He was a beautiful force in this world, gorgeous inside and out. His love and energy were contagious, he lit up every room he walked into and was always the one to make you laugh and feel loved and accepted. He loved all sports, especially free diving, fishing, soccer, softball, volleyball and corn hole. Anything to do with sports, he was in. The biggest love of his life was his daughter Jordynn. She was his world and lived every day for her. He is preceded by his parents, William and Sheri Strobaugh, his sister and brother-in-law Sarah and Jason Mehlum, his brother Nick Strobaugh, his beautiful daughter Jordynn, along with many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. I am sure his little sister Krissy welcomed him with loving arms. The Celebration of Life will at Bertelsen's Winery in The Vine. It will be open house style on Wednesday Nov. 30th from 5pm-8 pm. Please see his Facebook page for more details.

Brandon was one of my very best friends for the last several years. We went through life´s toughest and most rewarding times together. Everything B did he did it with the utmost charisma, integrity honor and dedication and with that beautiful smile of his always on his face. He was and always will be the most unforgettable person. He had such a love for so many people and would do anything for you just to see you smile. He was hands down the best father, friend and son and my life will never be the same without him. Everytime our paths crossed it was always memorable and unforgettable. He gave the best hugs and kisses and he always made me feel loved and safe. He was my rock. He pushed me always to be happy and content and always lifted me up. Today and always now and forever I will love you and miss you more than I could even begin to express. Rest easy B and know I love you unconditionally with all my heart for all my days!

I remember Brandon coming to our house when he was a young boy for popcicles. Later in life it was great to see him become a father and watch his fishing trips. He tried his hardest and best at whatever was before him. He was so proud of his daughter, you could see his joy in his infectious smile. Hard worker, live life to the fullest, take chances and don't look back is how I would describe Brandon. Gone way too soon, certainly not forgotten. Rest in peace.
