Keith Perry Obituary

Mount Vernon - Keith Lyle Perry, 65, passed away unexpectedly in Mount Vernon, Washington on January 23, 2022.

Keith was born August 6, 1956 to Lyle and Peggy Perry in Spokane, Washington. Keith was an accomplished guitarist and was known in the Bellingham and Mount Vernon area as "Guitar Man." He also played the trumpet in high school. Keith attended the University of Iowa for several years.

In 1988 Keith moved to the Seattle area to be closer to his family. He worked in the print shop industry for a while and later owned and managed a pedicab business in Seattle for many years. Keith was known at that time on the street as "Sturgis," because he was an avid motorcycle owner and rider. His other passion was his 37-foot sailboard which he lived on, first on Lake Union and then the Everett Marina.

Keith's latest adventure in Mount Vernon had been to support and assist the non-profit organization, "Friends of Climate Care."

Keith was never married and is survived by sister Loraine (Perry) Dexter, brother Monty Watson, brother Gary Watson and many nieces and nephews.

He will be missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life is being planned for a future date by family and friends.
