Brenda Pulley Obituary
Brenda Louise Sheppard Pulley, 70, of Danville, Va., went to her heavenly home on Monday, February 28, 2022. She was born on April 18, 1951, in Martinsville, Va., to the late Wren and Virginia Sheppard.
Mrs. Pulley was a member of the Shermont Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her love of family and for her love of Jesus.
She is survived by daughter, Kathy Crooks; sons, John Pulley (Lauren), Billy Toufas (Kathy), Chris Toufas (Jenny), and Walter Pulley (Amanda); stepson, E. Keith Pulley; stepdaughter, Pamela Curtis (David); grandchildren, Lauren, Katie, Anna Grace, Heather, Michael, Kinsley, Ava, Bo, Berkley, and Alexis; step grandchildren, Jamie, Mandi, and Becki; sister, Rilla Bowles (Roger); brother, Walter Sheppard (Betty); numerous great-grandchildren; beloved fur baby, Sophie; and the golden girls, Beth, Nancy, Barbara, and Norma. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Everette B. Pulley; step-granddaughter, Emilie Curtis; and sister, Mary Holley.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave., Danville, Va., officiated by Pastor Ryan Riley. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 2 until 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
