Cathy Newcomb Allen

Cathy Newcomb Allen, age 64, of Danville, Va., went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Chatham Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Allen was born May 13, 1961, in Danville, Va.,to the late Shirley Gibson Newcomb and the late Dudley Newcomb. She was married to Danny Ray Allen.

Mrs. Allen was a devoted member of White Oak Worship Center and was the owner and operator of Family Haircuts in Danville. She will always be remembered as a kindhearted and loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend to everyone who knew her.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her sister, Debbie N. Roach (Ben); her niece, Kasey Fulton; her nephews, Jason Roach, Larry Newcomb, Jr., Austin Newcomb, Jeremy Newcomb, and Ben Newcomb; and her numerous customers that she considered as her extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her beloved daughter, Lisa Ann Allen; and her brother, Larry Newcomb.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025, 2 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, West End Chapel with Pastor Roger Ewing officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to the Danville Life Saving Crew, 202 Christopher Lane Danville, VA 24541.
