Elsie Wigginton Obituary

Elsie Jones Wigginton Edenton, NC- Elsie Jones Wigginton, 88, of 200 Dickinson Street, Edenton, died Friday, September 23, at Chowan Hospital. She was born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. A daughter of the late Royal Matthis Jones and Della Shelton Jones and was the wife of the late Clarence Leo Wigginton.

Surviving Mrs. Wigginton are her Step Son: Clarence Wayne Winn, of Stoneville NC; 4 step-grandchildren, 7 step-great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and her good friends Virginia Lupton and Angela Sary. Mrs. Wigginton was also preceded in death by her three sisters: Eunice Lund, Eula Worley and Ruby Chludzinski; and a brother, Harry Jones.

A Funeral Service celebrating Elsie's life will be at 4:00PM, Sunday, September 25, at Evans Funerals and Cremations Chapel with Pastor Thomas Biggs officiating. A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Grove Christian Church; 5285 Preston Road, Martinsville VA on Monday September 26, 2011 at 11:00AM.
