Flossie Mae Adams, 74, formerly of Danville, Va., passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Autumn Care of Mechanicsville, Va.
Born September 2, 1947 in Danville, Va., she was the daughter of the late Eugene Adams Sr. and Flossie Banks Adams.
Survivors includes one sister, Odessa Jean Smith (William) of Mechanicville, Va.; one brother, Arthur Adams (Jimmie) of Pine Bluff, Alaska and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by six siblings.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11 a.m. from White Rock Baptist Church with the Rev. Leander Milton, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Greater Triumph Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. A viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Watkins Funeral Home, masks are required, the family will be present. My condolences and prayers to the family. Flossie and I were classmates in high school. I remember her as a warm friendly person with a beautiful smile. Her presence will be missed by many. May she Rest In Peace in God´s arms. Come unto me and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28.

Miss Adams was the librarian at Stony Mill Elementary School when I was teaching there. She was always kind and sweet to the students and teachers.My prayers are for her family.
