Gracie Moore Obituary

DANVILLE, Va. - Gracie Logan Moore, 100, of 155 Broad St., died Thursday, June 12, 2003, at Danville Regional Medical Center.

Born Sept. 16, 1902, in Scottsburg, she was a daughter of Henry Logan and Chronie Shavis Logan.
She was a nurse for newborn babies. She was a member of Loyal Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Andrew Logan of Danville and Ezekiel Logan of Bronx, N.Y.; a daughter, Camilla Stamps of Danville; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Cunningham & Hughes Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Nelson Stamps officiating. Interment will follow in Crooktown Cemetery.

A viewing will be held 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Cunningham & Hughes Funeral Home.

The family will be at the residence of her daughter, Camilla Stamps, 619 Kemper Road.

Cunningham & Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Gracie was a special lady. She babysat for us. (Betzy & Larry Wilson's 3 girls.) We spent a

lot of time with Dr. Green! Gracie

babysat for my son, Clif. Last time I saw her she hadn't changed a bit. She lived a good, long life.
