Joan Jonas Obituary
She is survived by her mother, age 93, who resides in Milwaukee, Wisc. She is survived by her husband, Bernard Jonas. On October 20, 2006, Mr. and Mrs. Jonas celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons, Laura Jonas of Burlington, Wisc., Lisa Welnak and her husband Jim of Seattle, Wash., Bernadine Cope and her husband, Benny of Winston-Salem, Bernard Jonas and his wife, Debra of Danville, Va., and Bradley Jonas and his wife, Arlene of Oxford. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Louisa Chaulkin of Burlington, Wisc., Jared Lynch of Waterford, Wisc., Nicole and Benjamin Cope of Winston-Salem, Jamie and Justin Jonas of Ruffin, Stephanie and Elliott Welnak of Seattle, Wash., and Raven Latta of Oxford.
Ma, you will truly be missed by all of your kids and grandchildren..
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 24 at 2 p.m. at Harrelson's Funeral Home.
Harrelson Funeral Service is assisting the Jonas family with arrangements.
