One in a million. I'm so sad that he won't be with us anymore, but have such great memories of the times we had together. Seeing that white hair and beard stolling into the mix always meant something interesting, funny or insightfull was going to be shared. He will always be with us, each in our own way. One in a million.

I will always remember the way you said the way "Thank You," when you were telling the kids how they can redeem their foul ball for tickets to the arcade. "Please return your foul ball to the press box so it can be redeemed for tickets to Dream Machine of Apple Blossom Mall. Thank Youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu."

I never met a more cheerful man. The world will be a sadder place in John's absence unless we remember the joy he brought to us all and continue to spread it in his memory. Here is to you, John, you will be missed.

Surely there is a spot reserved for you at Heaven's Pub & Grill... And you will bring nothing but great stories, quick wit and plenty of laughter to the place. I'll look forward to joining you there someday. Cheers my friend...

John, I was so delighted to have been able to know you, especially being raised in the south myself! You were a true southern gentleman and the best "SOUTHERN" Santa we at One by One Cat Rescue ever had. This next Christmas we will remember you and we will miss you. But too we will laugh about a past Christmas with a vison of you in your Santa suit and we will hear you saying boldly, "Why, I'm from the SOUTH pole mame!" You will always be our funny Southern Santa! Thank you for giving Smarty all of your love and devotion, I KNOW HE WILL MISS YOU! You were a delightful man and you made me laugh! I am glad I met you! GODSPEED!

May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand. ~Irish Blessing
