Joan and Mark: I was deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Buck's Passing. I didn't see you all alot, but I very well remember all the good times I had at the Old Homeplace. One of my main memories was the box of Oatmeal creme pies that were always on top of the fridge when we came to visit, and the blackberry bushes along the driveway. I think of you all quite a bit. Will keep you all in my Prayers. Feel free to contact me if you like. ...........All our Love and Prayers, Jewell and Family

JOAN AND DAVID,
I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I KNOW THE LOVE AND CARE YOU AND DAVID GAVE YOUR DAD. HE ALWAYS SAID THAT HE DID'NT KNOW WHAT HE WOULD DO WITHOUT YOU TWO. HE LOVED DAVID AS IF HE WERE HIS OWN SON, AND OFTEN TOLD PEOPLE THIS. HE SAID DAVID TOOK BETTER CARE OF HIM THAN THE DOCTORS DID.
HE ALWAYS SAID HOW FORTUNATE HE WAS TO HAVE A DAUGHTER THAT LOVED HIM SO MUCH.HE ALSO SAID HE LOVED DAVID AS MUCH AS IF HE WERE HIS OWN CHILD.I WANT TO EXPRESS MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO YOU AND THE FAMILY. I KNOW AS MUCH AS YOU LOVED HIM AND TOOK CARE OF HIM, THAT YOU WILL SURELY MISS HIM.
