Lou Annie Baugh Ramsey

CHATHAM - Lou Annie Baugh Ramsey, age 75, of Chatham died Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.

Born Nov. 12, 1932 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Baugh and Leola Clifton Baugh. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell Morris Ramsey; a daughter, Kathy Lynn Harrup; one brother, Robert Baugh; and one sister, Oleta Ramsey. Mrs. Ramsey was a member of Greenbay Christian Church and was a home maker.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Ramsey and wife Darlene of Gretna; son-in-law, James Harrup of Hurt; one brother, Russell Baugh of Chatham; two half-sisters, Ellie Mae Wright of Eden, N.c. and Clennie Keatts of Eden, N.C.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, 2008 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by the Rev. Neville Shelton and Frank Fuller, Minister. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park, Danville.

The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of her son, Kenneth Ramsey, 336 Squirrel Road, Gretna.

Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, Gretna, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
