Michael Towler Obituary
DANVILLE, Va. - Michael Lee Towler, 30, of 143 Hamlin Avenue, died Friday night, Nov. 26, 2004, on Westover Drive.
Born Jan. 13, 1974, in Danville, he was the son of Ann Gray Towler and the late Landon William Towler Sr.
He worked for Danville Pawn Company as a clerk.
He married Sharon Hankins Towler on November 15, 1997.
In addition to his wife, of Danville, he is survived by four daughters, Kasey Towler, Amber Towler, Crystal Towler and Emily Towler, all of Danville; and three brothers, Ronnie Towler, Landon Towler Jr. and Robert Towler, all of Danville.
There will be a graveside memorial service at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at Highland Burial Park with the Rev. Donald Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29 at Barker Funeral Home chapel and at other times they will be at 641 Monument Street, Danville.
Barker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

May God be with each of you every day bringing comfort with the great memories we each have of Michael. Let him live on by not letting him be forgotton. May he be on our minds and in our hearts daily. As we see the girls grow and become wonderful ladies remember all that Michael had to do with it, he was a wonderful father and every minute of every day not one of those girls ever wondered how their daddy felt about them, he showed it in everything he did. We only had the pleasure of knowing Michael for the last 3 years but he wormed his way into our hearts as if he had been there forever. Most people never get the chance to have a friend / brother / son as wonderful as he was and we are greatful to have had the chance to be apart of his life. Many people have been blessed by their encounters with Michael, he will be greatly missed.

Kasey and Amber..I am so very sorry for the loss of your daddy. I know you both love him very much and that he loved you also. To Ann, Ronnie, Landon Jr., and Robert....It is with great sadness that I sit here typing this on Sunday just finding out about Michaels passing. I have so many fond memories of watching all of you growing up next door with me and all the fun times we had playing football and baseball and cards and Yatzhee.....It meant alot when I saw all the boys two years ago when mamma passed away. You sure have been thru alot Ann, all I can say is hang in there, have faith that Michael is in the comforting arms of Landon Sr. in heaven and that they will comfort each other and you and Ronnie, Landon Jr., and Robert will be here for now comforting each other in these trying times. You will see Michael each time you see your grand children...so he is still here with you.
