Anthony Dwayne "Tap" Adams

Mr. Anthony Dwayne "Tap" Adams, age forty-nine, departed his earthly life and entered into eternal rest Friday, February 20, 2026 at his residence in Timberlake, North Carolina. He was born in Danville, Virginia January 1, 1977 and was a member of Bethel Way of Christ Church in Danville, Virginia.

He is preceded in death by grandparents: James, Sr. and Maggie Adams and James and Mary Bennett; father-in-law, James King; and uncles: Weldon Adams, James Adams and John Adams.

He leaves to cherish precious memories his wife, Marshall Adams of the home; children: Mariah Adams, also of the home, Anthony Adams, Jr. (Decara) of Whisett, North Carolina and Traevon Tucker of Roxboro, North Carolina; grandchildren: twins, Kenasli and Kaylani Adams, also of Whisett; parents, Robert and Patricia Adams of Pelham, North Carolina; mother-in-law, Mary King of Virgilina, Virginia; one sister, Ashlee Adams of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; sisters-in-law: Leisha King of South Boston, Virginia and Cindy King of Virgilina; brothers-in-law: Jermichael Tuck of Virgilina, Carl Hall of Nathalie, Virginia and Clifton Davis of Virgilina; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive visitors at his home in Timberlake, 67 Roy Pierce Road 27583.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later time.
