Peggy Noblin Jennings of Red Oak, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, February 15th, 2026, at the age of 84. She was born on August 29th, 1941, in Halifax County, Virginia, to the late Robert William Noblin and Audie Cassada Noblin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Morell Jennings.
As the owner and operator of her own business, Peggy exemplified dedication and hard work. Her talents extended beyond business; she was an avid volunteer with Meals on Wheels, a passionate member of the Day Lilies Club, and a proud participant of the Red Hat Society. Peggy's community initiatives were complemented by her love for fundraising and volunteering—a role she embraced with grace and enthusiasm. Peggy found immense joy in cooking for friends, family, and community members, often using her culinary skills to bring people together. Her exquisite flower garden was a testament to her green thumb and artistic eye, a sanctuary where she spent countless hours cultivating beauty. Peggy taught herself to paint, turning blank canvases into cherished works of art.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Jennings-Conner (Tony) of Timberlake, NC and Kimberley Ann Jennings of Durham, NC; grandson, August Jennings Goodrich; sister, Connie Jenkins (Sammy) of Alabama; brother, John Henry Noblin (Janice) of Charlotte Court House and numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Sterling Alexander Noblin & Robert Leo Noblin and a sister, Joan Noblin.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Wylliesburg Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Kristen White officiating.
