Ruth Shaw Keem
Ruth Shaw Keem, 76, formerly of 525 Pinecrest Drive, Danville, went home with the Lord Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at Riverside Health Care. Mrs. Keem was born Nov. 24, 1934, in Buffalo, N.Y. She was a member of the Sonshine Ladies at Central Blvd. Church Of God. Mrs. Keem retired from Heritage Village in Gerry, N.Y., where she worked as a nurse. Mrs. Keem was married to the late Walter George Keem Jr.
Mrs. Keem is survived by three daughters, Denise H. Caldwell and Emily M. VanNorden, both of Danville, and Karen D. Wagner, of Kennedy, N.Y.; one son, David M. Keemm of Angola, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by two sons, Walter G. Keem III and Dale G. Keem.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at Central Blvd. Church Of God, Danville, with the Rev. John Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park, Danville.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today, Jan. 16, 2011, at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave., Danville.

Ruth Keem, the only Mother in law I've ever had, She was my dear friend, my confidant, my teacher, my mentor, my advisor, She was my go-to bible lady if I ever had a question or something I needed explaining. She cried with me the many times we'd reminisce of her husband, my husband, her Son's and how we miss them so. As we lay her to rest today I know with a sad heart that she will be miss by many. I only pray that every thing she preach, to every person she talk to, does not go out in vain but that everyone hears and accept the truths that she spoke. That Jesus is Lord of Lord and King of King. For it is written, As I live, said the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. That was Ma's mission that was her Life. Rest in peace Ma, until we see you again.

Ruth was such a wonderful lady and was loved dearly by everyone and I will miss her so much. Emily I love you and your family and know GOD will bring you all through this.
