Sonie Eman, 48, of Chatham, Va., passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at her residence. She was born on April 24, 1974, to Harry Robert Welch and the late Sandra Charles Welch.
Sonie attended White Oak Worship Center, and she will always be remembered as a kindhearted and loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Austen Eman; her father, Harry Robert Welch; her sister, Bobby Welch; her brother, Robert Welch and his wife, Christon, and a host of friends.
In addition to her mother, she was also predeceased by her fiancé, Brad Reynolds, and three sisters.
A visitation will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 12 until 4 p.m. at her residence. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
