Annabelle Champion Obituary

Annabelle Champion age 88, of Highland, Illinois, passed away at 4:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the Highland Health Center in Highland, Illinois.

She was born November, 15, 1929, in Collinsville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Charles & Vinna (Ashworth) Beasley.

Annabelle worked as a cashier at the Glen Carbon Walgreens for many years. She married the late Ralph Champion August, 29, 1973.

She is survived by two sons, Elmer Bilyeu & wife Sheryl of Sorento, Illinois, Albert Bilyeu & fiancé Alice Geminn of Fairview Heights, Illinois; one daughter, Mary Graham & husband Danny of Pierron, Illinois; four grandchildren, Brian Bilyeu, Chris Bilyeu, Paul Graham, Jennifer Graham; nine great grandchildren and one sister, Charline Paul of Collinsville.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Clara Mae Bullard.

Annabelle loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, fishing, bowling & gardening.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Herman Smith officiating..

She will be cremated according to her wishes and will be buried at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
