my dear son, I expect you to walk in the door any minute, have our long talks. I miss you so , so much. What am I going to do without you? Mike and I miss you, We haven't had a good dinner, without you cooking for us. I love you from here to pluto and back a million gugile times, we've always said that, since you were a little boy. That saying will follow me the rest of my life. I miss you terribly. It's been a month now, but it seems like yesterday that I saw you. Help Me Barry, I need you. I really need you. Mom

I remember so many things including your declaration that 'sports' wasn't for you but you would have 'other interests' Your smile was the sweetest and you always displayed gentlemanly behavior. Our family will remain forever changed. Forever incomplete. You always said 'I love you grandma' at the end of a telephone conversation.I can still hear your voice.
Love, Grandma

I remember growing up, you were a great kid and loved by everyone. You always seemed to enjoy yourself no matter what you did. You are missed by many and will be for a long time.

I've spent the last few days contemplating the perfect words to memoralize such an amazing life, but the words just never come out right. I've been reeling over childhood memories, the love we shared for each other as friends and family. The Christmas eve parties at grandma and grandpa's house, Easter, family reunions. We are all just kids in this amazing family and we lost one of our babies. Baby Barry, I will miss you so much!

Barry...everytime I think about you, it puts a smile on my face even though we haven't spoken in years. I remember helping to sneak you and Sarah into prom when you were both freshmen! You always had a smile on your face and something funny to say! I remember how sad we were when you moved to FL. I also remember taking Jon down to see you that first summer and getting lost because of your directions.
From one of the foursome of Barry & Sarah and Jon & Michelle in Edwardsville, IL (1997-1998). God Bless!!!

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
