Connie Buchta Obituary
Florissant, MO - Connie M. Buchta, age 78, of Florissant, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022, at her residence. She was born May 26, 1944, in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, the daughter of the late Alfred & Isabel (McKinnon) Zambaldi. Connie married C. Allyn Buchta on October 2, 1965. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2018. She is survived by two sons, Dale A. Buchta & wife Geli, of Imperial, Missouri, and Darrin Buchta, of Florissant: and two grandchildren, Kyleigh & Austin Buchta.
Connie worked as a cashier in the cafeteria at Robinwood Elementary School in Florissant for many years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in St. Louis. Connie loved the Sunday family dinners, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville, Illinois. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the funeral home with Rev. David Roderick officiating. Burial will follow at the Quercus Grove Cemetery in Edwardsville. The family requests memorials to Shriners Hospital for Children. Condolences may be expressed online at weberfuneralhome.com

Sorry to learn of Connie's death. She was a lovely lady and enjoyed being with her at church and with our activities. Sorry she was ill for so long and felt not able to leave her home. Saying prayers for her and her family.
