Terry Unger Obituary

Terry L. Unger, age 50, of Oklahoma City, Okla, formerly of Greenville, died on Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, in Oklahoma City, Okla.

He was born on Feb. 20, 1955, in Alton, the son of Naomi Owens Unger of Granite City and the late William Unger.

He was formerly married to Vicki Traub of Greenville.

He is survived by two daughters: Kelli Malone of Germantown, and Kristi Unger of McAllen, Texas; grandchildren: Dylan Jackson and Tyler and Grant Malone; brothers: Robert Unger of Pennsylvania, Richard Unger Sr. of Glen Carbon, Ronald Chandler of Granite City, and David and Richard Rudd, both of Bryan, Texas; sisters: Claudette Cramer of Washington, Kim Unger of Hong Kong, and Mary, Sharon and Debbie Wisnasky.

Mr. Unger was self-employed in commercial construction as a mason. His memberships included the Carpenters Union.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Saksa Mateer Funeral Home in Edwardsville.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Unger Sr. officiating.

Interment will be at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville.

Memorials are suggested to the Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Relief.
