Bronte, TX
Alice Minjarez, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior,Tuesday,August 21, 2018. Visitation will be held all day, Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the funeral home with family present from 6-8 pm. Graveside services will be at 3:00 pm, Friday, August 24, 2018 in Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Alice was born to Pedro Reyes and Elvira Hernandez Reyes on February 5, 1935 in Bronte. She loved her family and always put their needs above her own. She would give her last penny to anyone in need. Alice loved the Lord and was a faithful servant.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, in 2010 after fifty-five years of marriage.
She is survived by her son, Louis Minjarez, Jr. and wife Dorothy; daughters, Ofelia Torres, Lydia Soto and husband Santiago, Elvia Casares all of Bronte; brothers, Richard Reyes of Bronte and Benjamin Reyes and wife Hortencia of San Angelo; eight grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
Special thanks to Bronte Health and Rehab and Kindred Hospice for the love and care they gave our Mom during her last days.
