Danny Abalos Obituary
Robert Lee
Danny Abalos, of Sonora, went home to be with our father Sept. 21, 2016.
Danny was born July 27, 1960, in Rankin Texas, the son of Willie and Mickey Abalos.
Danny is survived by his mother, Mickey Abalos of Odessa, Texas; sisters Susie Ramirez and husband Fidencio of Sonora, Texas, Mariann Bagley and husband Jimmy of Odessa Texas; brothers Willie Abalos of Midland Texas, Tony Abalos and wife Wuanice of Kennedale Texas, Rudy Abalos and wife Sandy of Broaddus, Texas, Poly Abalos and wife Gloria of San Antonio, Texas, Jorge Abalos and wife Delvia of Artesia, New Mexico, Ernest Abalos of Pueblo, Colorado, Gilbert Abalos and wife Tawny of Ennis, Texas; many nieces and nephews; and lots and lots of cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Abalos; grandparents Frank and Maggie Abalos, and Rito and Felipa Montanez.
Danny will always be remembered for his love of country music, dancing and singing. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but also cooking out with his friends and family. He will be forever missed by all his family that he loved and loved him. The Abalos dance contests will never be the same.
Visitation was held all day Friday, Sept. 23, 2016 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Robert Lee, Texas, with burial to follow in Robert Lee Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

Abalos family are in mine and Makenzie's prayers. I grew up with your family all my life. Aurora even babysat me when I was little. Danny thought of you often buddy every time I came to my dad's farm in Robert Lee. We had some great memories as kids growing up there in the summers. REally sorry that I never got a chance to catch up with you after all these years. Prayers to you and your family. You will be greatly missed. Thanks for touching my life, Love you my brother. RIP
