DEBORAH GONZALES Obituary
SAN ANGELO - Deborah Sue Gonzales, of San Angelo, Texas, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 26, 2007. Deborah was born on April 10, 1959. She was a 1978 graduate of San Angelo Central High School. She spent most of her life working for the State of Texas. Deborah was a member of Johnson Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Benjamin R. Gonzales and Lupe B. Gonzales of San Angelo. She is survived by her parents, Eugene and Elsie Lara of San Angelo; her sister, Amelia Gonzales of San Angelo; her brothers, Benjamin Gonzales and his wife, Tina, and David Gonzales and his wife, Maria, all of San Angelo, Gene B. Lara of Midland and Gary Lara Sr. and his wife, Maria of San Angelo; nieces and nephews, Benjamin Gonzales, Lisa Gonzales, Gina Lara, Gary Lara Jr. and Aaron Lara of Tulsa, Okla.; her lifelong friend, Nora Petterson Nichols; and many other friends and family members. Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 30, at Johnson's Street Church of Christ with the burial afterward in Fairmount Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Geral Sorrells, Gary Lara Jr., Moses Fernandez, Justin Segura, Gabriel Segura and Benjamin Gonzales. Her family would like to thank all of the medical staff that has been of help over the past few years.
