I too remember Bro.Rogers from my youth. His example of faithful endurance is one we do well to imitate. I will always remember his smile and his kindness. My prayers are with you as we all look forward to being reunited with our loved ones soon.

When your heart is heavy,
And you feel you can't go on,
Think of the years you had together,
He'd want you to stay strong,
It's only natural you will grieve,
To do so shows you cared,
But always smile at the memories,
That you were so lucky to share.

There are people you remember and have respect and admiration for all your life, and George was one of these people. I cannot remember not knowing George from my earliest memories on and whenever I did see him he always had a warm handshake and kind words to say. Our condolences to all the family. May Jehovah give you comfort in this time of sorrow.

Thank God, Pat had the good sense to marry George. She enriched the lives of all her family including her cousins when she did that. George exemplified the motto he had on his desk. He was one of the nicest people I ever met. He will be missed. I have special memories of him as far back as when I was four. My thoughts and prayers are with Pat, the girls and his entire family.
