Joshua David Ackles

DOVER - Joshua David Ackles, "Josh" of Dover, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Kent General Hospital in Dover. He was 24. Josh was born July 8, 1989 in Dover, the son of Pete Ackles and Michele Churchman, of Dover. Life with Josh was like the best roller coaster ride ever. Full of twists and turns, ups and downs, but he always left you smiling at the end of the ride. Josh touched everyone he met in his own special way. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Anne Ackles; his aunt, Pat Bureau; and his uncle, Rich Ackles. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Jane and Joe Churchman of Rehoboth Beach; his uncle, Bill Bureau of Massachusetts; his aunt, Laurie Churchman of Philadelphia, Pa.; his uncle, Bruce Churchman and his wife, Giancarla of Rehoboth Beach; and five cousins, Billy Bureau, Joey Churchman and his wife, Megan, and Jimmy, Jeffrey, and Jessica Churchman. A visitation for family and friends will be 11 a.m., Monday, October 7, 2013 in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Memorial services will begin at 12:30 pm. Burial will privately held in Lakeside Cemetery in Dover at a later date.
