Mom, I love you. I miss you terribly. I miss your letters. I miss calling you. I miss seeing you. I have lost my safety net. I always knew that whatever happened in my life, I had you to come home to. Thank You for always, always, being there for all of us. For the first time in my life, I'm lost. You have taught us well. Thank You Mom for everything. I will keep my faith as you have showed us how to so many times. I miss your big hugs, laugh, kisses, and smile. I miss our Cowboys games together. Please watch over us as I still need you. Thank You Again Mom for everything, and I LOVE YOU!

Norma Schelper
My name is Norma Schelper and my husband and I bought Sara's home in Grape Creek in 1994. When we first looked at the home, Sara took me aside and told me that we would buy this home. As it turned out, we did buy the home and of course, we love it here. We have raised our children here, just as Sara and J.C did. There are still the names of Sara's children written in cement under the carport. I kept in touch with Sara and Gene for many years and then lost contact. Sara so wanted someone to buy the house that would love it and take care of it. I believe we have fulfilled Sara's wish. It saddens me for your loss and I wanted you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sara will always be a part of our lives.
