Doris "Dot" Savage Obituary
She was a native of Long Island, N.Y., and the daughter of the late Walter and Virginia McSherry Carson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Leroy Martin; and her brother, William Carson.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Savage; sons, Robert Martin of Hope, R.I. and Glenn McPherson of Stecoah, N.C.; daughters, Bonnie Dunn of Almond, N.C., and Tracey Berchem of West Greenwich, R.I.; and brothers, Robert Carson and Walter Carson, both of Gainesville, Ga.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.
Townson-Smith Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Savage family.
