Ronald Lee Stevenson

STEVENSON, RONALD LEE Age 72 of Ionia, Michigan went to his Heavenly home on July 27, 2014. Waiting to welcome him were his parents: Don and Vera Stevenson; in-laws: Lloyd and Mildred Gammons and a sister, Suzanne Budrew. He is survived by Gayle, his loving wife of 52 years; 5 children Lee, Kimberly Welton, Jeff (Sarah), Jill (Steve) Adolph, Jodi (Dan) Bartels; 16 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and 2 on the way; brothers-in-law Larry Gammons and James (Linda) Budrow; 5 nieces and nephews and their families. Ron had a great love for God and his family. He also loved hunting, politics and John Deere. His life achievements included banking, sales, construction, mission work and being a real estate broker. Ron loved helping and teaching others and he was a great example of a man who walked with God. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Temple Baptist Church, 1978 S. State Rd., Ionia, MI 48846. Interment will follow later in the day at Coral Cemetery, Coral, MI. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m., on Wednesday at Temple Baptist Church and one hour prior to the service at the church.
