Morris Haglom Obituary

Morris (Mike) Hagblom

1949-2024

Morris O (Mike) Hagblom passed away unexpectedly from complications of agent orange on May 14, 2024 at his residence in Warba, MN at the age of 75. Mike was born on March 21st, 1949 in Devil's Lake, North Dakota.

Mike enlisted in the Marines in July of 1967. Mike took his first leave in Big Falls, which he considered his hometown. It was this time that Mike met Jerrie (Nevels) and were united in marriage on March 6, 1971 in Ely, Minnesota. They later divorced and remarried a second time, and divorced again. Couldn't live with him, and couldn't live without him.

Mike was honorably discharged from the Marines on November 20th, 2004. He received many medals and ribbons; most notably two purple hearts. He was very proud of his logging career. Mike worked for several different logging companies, and he was passionate about all of them.

Mike was preceded in death by his Mother Jean and Father Morris Sr., infant brother David Hagblom, Robert Fuhrman, and Donald Hagblom.

Mike is survived by Richard (Irene) Hagblom, Bonnie Coddington, Connie Hagblom and Robin Hagblom, and several nieces and nephews. Also, survived by Jerrie Hagblom, ex-wife and best friend and her family.

A celebration of life will be held on July 13th at the Big Falls Evergreen Cemetery with the Marine Honor Guard. Following the service, a light lunch will be served in the Big Falls Legion Room. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial to the Big Falls Evergreen Cemetery or a charity of your choice.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all who supported us during this difficult time.
