It was there she attended school, graduating from Mankato High School in 1963.

In 1965 Paula married Robert Thomas. They later divorced. In 1972, she married Kenneth Rogers. For many years Paula worked for the telephone company. After she and Kenny moved to Grand Rapids, MN, they enjoyed an outdoors life near their home on the Mississippi River and during their frequent fishing trips to Canada. After they passed away, Paula moved to the Twin Cities to be closer to many of her cousins. Paula was predeceased by her mother and father and by both husbands. She is survived by a sister, Susan Kepley of Raleigh, NC, a brother, Fred McGee of Southbury, CT, six nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
