Scottie Oller Obituary
He was born on Aug.18, 1940, in Leitchfield, son of the late J. B. and Sarah Lorene Gannaway Oller. He was retired from Magna Division of Vermont America, a member of Little Clifty Baptist Church and attended Leitchfield First Baptist Church.
Scottie LeRond is survived by his wife and best friend, Shirley Wilson Oller; his children, Keith Oller and Todd Oller (Lisa). They were the joy of his life.
Other survivors include one sister, Phyllis Powell; two brothers-in-law, Jimmy Wilson (Jean), and Bob Wilson; four sisters-in-law, Kay Wilson, Carolyn Dennis (Ed), Sandra Weiss (Emil) and Blanche Madsen (Lee); 16 nieces and nephews; 32 great-nieces and nephews who lovingly called him "Uncle Homer"; and 10 great-great-nieces and nephews, all of whom he dearly loved.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father- and mother-in-law, Emmett and Mabel Wilson; one brother-in-law, Charles Wilson; and one nephew, Kevin Wilson.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home in Leitchfield, with Brother Murl "Butch" Ford officiating. Burial is in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
