Billie Weber Obituary

Billie I. Weber, 82, a retired Air Force OSI Special Agent of Great Falls, died of natural causes Nov. 18 at a local hospital.

His funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel with interment following in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Bill was born April 18, 1930, in Eads, Colo., and was raised and educated in Oregon, attending Forest Grove Union High School. He married Dolores L. Remacle in Riverside, Calif., on Sept. 12, 1953. She passed away Oct. 20, 2009.

Bill entered the USAF on July 20, 1949, served in the Korean Conflict, Vietnam War, special investigations groups and OSI, and retired Aug. 31, 1970. He then went to work for Sears for 22 years as a salesman, retiring in 1992.

Bill lived in multiple states including California, Oregon, Missouri, Colorado and Washington, and spent four years in Spain, all prior to settling in Great Falls in 1970.

He was a member of the Eagles, past member of the Elks, Westside VFW, Association of Former OSI Special Agents and St. Luke's the Evangelist Church. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, cribbage and poker.

Bill is survived by his daughters, Sue Shaulis of Great Falls and Teresa and son-in-law R.L. "Butch" Lindsey of Bedford, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and DeEtte Weber of Great Falls; a brother and sister-in-law, Wendell "Wink" and Phyllis Weber of Forest Grove, Ore.; 10 grandchildren, Taylor J. Shaulis and Brianne M. (Jason) Schoonover of Great Falls, Jennifer (Nicholas) Diemicki and Ashley Lindsey, both of Bedford, Emily Weber, Anna Weber, McKenzie Weber, and Travis (Bridgette) Kakalecik, all of Great Falls, Kyle (Missy) Kakalecik of Fort Worth, Texas, and Danielle Kakalecik of Billings; and six great-grandchildren, Chance, Cody and Skyler Schoonover, and Kameron and Kendyll Kakalecik, all of Great Falls, and Keagan Kakalecik of Fort Worth.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Weber in 2009.

Memorials in Billie's name are suggested to Montana Veterans Memorial, P.O. Box 3524, Great Falls, MT 59403.

I have fond memories of Bill and Dolores. He and my husband worked together at Sears for many years. I enjoyed having his grandchildren in my Day Care Center. My sympathy goes out to Sue, Bill, and Theresa and to Taylor and Brianne.
