Giuseppina "Josephine" Bertoli

Great Falls —Giuseppina "Josephine" (Pinocci) Bertoli, 92 of Great Falls, passed away of natural causes on September 15, 2014. Visitation will be open to family and friends at Croxford Funeral Home on Friday, Sept 19 from 6pm-8pm. Her Funeral Service will be Saturday, Sept 20 at the Hillcrest Lawn Mausoleum Chapel at 2:00pm, followed by entombment.

Josephine was born in Gallicano Lucca, Italy on March 21, 1922. In 1949 she was married to Tommaso G. Bertoli and they were blessed with 51 years of marriage until his passing in February of 2000. True to their Italian customs, the couple enjoyed spending their time together by sharing mutual hobbies: wine making and cooking. Josephine also enjoyed gardening.

She started working on the family farm at a very young age. At the age of 14, she began working at the Cucerini cotton factory and remained there until 1968, when she moved to the U.S. From 1968 to 1987 she worked at a local nursing home until her retirement.

Josephine had great faith in her God, Jehovah, and His promise of a paradise Earth where many will be resurrected to. Those who have preceded her in death include husband, Tommaso; brothers, Louie and Bruno Pinocci; and great-grandchild, Morgan Jade Kailey.

She is survived by her sons, Adolph (Dianne) Bertoli and Silvestro (Gracia) Bertoli, all of Great Falls; brother, Rudy Pinocci, also of Great Falls; four grandchildren: Paul & Trevor Bertoli, Gina Kailey and Angela Scholbrock; three great-grandchildren: Madelynn Kailey, Gwenevere Bertoli, and Gabriella Scholbrock; as well as sister-in-law, Siria Pinocci of Italy; and many nieces and nephews.
