Julie when I found out your husband was lost to you so suddenly I felt numb. I can't even amagine how you are feeling. I remember how your smile was so genuine and warm everytime I saw you. I believe that is a sign that you were loved very much especially by your husband. As humans we always question and I just try to remember that my mom always use to say not to question that God had a plan even at this moment and probably many more no one will understand that plan. I just wanted you to know you are in my family's thoughts and prayers and I hope your family and friends surround you with comfort. God will always be there. This kind of trajedy really makes people stop and realize their problems really are not that bad. You may not even remember me but please know I wish you comfort, happiness and love.

Cliff & Helen,

My last contact with Rick would have been in the mid 1960's when I came over from Plentywood to stay a couple of days. Even though many years have passed, I remember Rick & I used to walk out into the field and throw rocks at the gophers. I am sorry to hear of his sudden & untimely death. My sympathy goes out to you and the family during this time of loss and reflection.

My first contact with Rick was in 1975 when I went to work on the Wasterwater Treatment Facility with Sletten Construction this lasted thoroughout the next 31 years. In my career in construction I have found few people as genuine, competent and sincere as Rick. We often talked about life in general and the trials and tribulations of the industry we worked in.

I thought at sometime I'd pursue a closer frtiendship outside of business but that opportunity is now past.

Please accept my sincere sympathy in your untimely loss. He will be greatly missed and long remembered by me and the huge number of people he touched in the industry.
