Roger Dale Utley

Great Falls — Roger Dale Utley, 53, of Great Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. A Memorial Service for Roger will be held this Saturday, August 19 at 11:00 A.M. in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held directly following the service in the Missouri Room at the Mansfield Civic Center, 2 Park Drive S, Great Falls.

Roger was born on September 6, 1963 in Gainesville, FL. While still in his youth, the family moved north taking up residence in Great Falls, MT where he remained throughout his life. Though never marrying, Roger did have three sons. Roger had a sense of humor that could have you laughing for days. He was a self-proclaimed "jack of all trades," which made sense when hearing about his working life. An excellent cook, Roger worked at various restaurants around the Great Falls area. He was a truck driver, construction worker, and for the last 14 years of his life, a grain elevator operator until his untimely passing.

Though always busy and on the go, Roger always found time to go fishing, camping, watch Nascar and time spent with his family friends. He was also proudly known as being one of the biggest Oakland Raiders fans around.

Roger was preceded in death by the passing of his parents, and his brother, Larry Boyken.

He is survived in death by his sons, Jeremiah Utley of Great Falls, Dustin Utley of Bozeman, Kyle (Justine) Utley of Great Falls; sisters, Charmae Edwards of Great Falls, Tina (Bryan) Hilbig of Great Falls, Gina Marko of Great Falls, Debbie (Rob) Marko Holland of Great Falls; brothers, Brad (Kim) Boyken of Great Falls, Dave Boyken of Great Falls, Michael Utley of Great Falls; six grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
