Dear Mom, I am missing you so very much on this Sunday. I miss our phone calls to "Catch up on things that happened during the week" with the family, all near and far. Aunt Dixie was a woman of joy, strength and fortitude to me. I loved her girlish laugh - a wonderful joyful spirit.
I feel blessed to have enjoyed the relationships and great fun with her children, my cousins, during our youth.
Much love and compassion to my cousins and family, Cliff

Dixie you have been like a mom to me from the time I walked into your home on Jefferson st close to 50 yrs ago and all the way to Quincy st. You/Alvin treated me like a daughter, always offering meals, desserts. Always feeling the love. You continued that tradition w/me when he crossed over. You have been an earth-angel to countless people, now you are a heavenly angel! You are an amazing wife/mom/friend/soul! I am so happy/grateful I got to tell you that again before you crossed! I know you are celebrating immersed in God's powerful protective white light, feeling joy seeing Alvin/Lisa/your parents, so many others! May this comfort all of Dixie/Alvin's beautiful 13 children/grandchildren! Let your heart/souls be filled w/so much happiness for her that she is healthy/radiant,that there is just a corner in your heart to mourn! Watch for the signs...Love you all sooo much my Orsted family! Prayers for healing and inner -outter peace/joy/serenity! ^i^

Dear Family Members,
You don't know me but I knew your mom all through grade school at St. Willebrord's. She was the smartest girl in the class and one of the nicest. She had a beautiful smile that hardly ever left her face. I will remember her in my prayers. Another classmate and I tried to contact her to have lunch with us when I was in Green Bay this past summer. That classmate did finally contact her and had a very nice phone conversation with her a few weeks later and it was then that we knew about her having cancer. We were so close to almost meeting again after many years. Now we will look forward to being together in heaven as I am sure that is her new home and hopefully will be mine in God's Mercy.
