Not a day goes by that I don“t think of Mom and Dad. Their legacy is that of kind, compassionate people who share so much friendship with others even through illness. Miss them everyday!

There are good persons and there are excellent persons. Kay was clearly one of the latter and that is how I remember my sister four years after her passing.

Oh Kay, how has it been 4yrs. Oh we would have been so mad at the latest political events. I always think of you when making goulash. You were a bright light for me. I do visit you when I'm in De Pere.

Only a year or so (but it seems much longer to me) since I could take my sister to lunch. Sad she is gone, but I cherish the memories that reach all the way back to early childhood. There are many, many of them.

Over the years and through many Bougie related funerals and the occasional summer Bougie party when I transported my parents. Kay and I would talk about the world at hand and family. She had the close up view, I had a slightly more distanced view. I enjoyed her take on life and humor.

What to say about Kay, she was a beautiful person. Her family and church helped her get thru some very trying times. We will miss her at the Bridge Table and singing with her in the Resurrection choir but know she and Vern are together again. May all your memories help you during this most difficult time God Bless you her family.

Kay was a complete ray of sunshine and was so supportive of Randy and I as we were raising our children through St. Francis and Notre Dame of De Pere. We will forever miss her happy disposition at the SCRIP table and her encouraging comments and parenting advice.

Kay was a favorite client of mine. She knew she had to keep me busy so I was happy to help with whatever she needed. Cleaning a junk drawer to making cookies. She was an amazing person and I am so fortunate to have had her in my life. Thank you to her family for treating me so well. Prayers and hugs to all.

Kay was the older sister, the caretaker and caregiver, all her life. It seemed her life task was to make the lives of others better, and she did so for many, many years. She has earned this eternal rest, and the joy of being reunited with her husband, Vern.
