Its been a year and there are many times I think of Kevin and laugh out loud at some of the things we said. We would greet each other with " Dammit Moore" and he would say the same with my name, followed by myriad of racial slurs about each other, to see the look on peoples faces who didn't know us was always funny. There are days I say that out loud, "Dammit Moore" I am sorry I was not there when you left. I know where you are though and I know your Mom and Dad are happy that your home. Put a few good words in for me (well better make it a lot of good words. Your a writer, a chapter or two should do it) When I hit the links this summer I'll think of you. Miss you.

Kevin! What awesome high school memories I have of Kevin Moore and my deeply missed brother Mike Pfister. We were all truly blessed to have you two in our lives. Saddened that life was cut short for the both of you! You I am sure will be missed.

Kevin- I know personally you were always there with a positive attitude, no matter how many times you fell, we fell, it did not matter, you would always see the silver lining. I knew when I missed my call from my birthday buddy something was amiss. I am the 12th and Kevin the 13th. I then shot him a text message wishing him a happy Bday. I know we can all cry in coulda shoulda woulda, but my relationship wasn't a physical brotherhood it was on a spiritual kinship. Kevin's spirit will always be with me, I will just confide with him in Heaven. I know he will be there for my wife and I as he has always been, just as we will be there for him.

My sincere sympathy for the family of Kevin. I was lucky to reconnect with him in the last few years--enjoying our visits and catching up on old stories--Kev had great humor and memories leaving me with a smile after every visit. My last words to him were "love ya".....I will miss him!

Dear Family of Kevin,

While I was on travel on March 13, 2013 I thought of Kevin, and I wanted to call him, but I didn't record his telephone number into my addy book. I thought of him during the remainder of my trip in Dallas, Texas. I remembered his humor and his sincere way of visiting with a friend.

I knew Kevin from when we worked together at the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin newspaper, "Kalihwisaks." We became instant friends and he is a solid friend to this. Kevin is one of the reasons I really love Wisconsin.
