Robert Koch Obituary
Robert F. Koch, 85, Howard, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2013. He was born in Evanston, IL on Sept. 5, 1927 to the late Nicholas and Alison (Izette) Koch. Robert served in the US Army and was honorably discharged. He married Florence Kreft in Hubbard Woods, IL on Aug. 25, 1951 and they celebrated 61 years of marriage. He was employed as a truck driver for Instant Whip for 42 years.
Survivors include his wife, Florence; children, Jeanette Koch, IL; Robert A.(Darlene) Koch, IL; Bonnie (Bill) Webb, IL; Alan (Laura) Koch, IL; Alice Wedyck, Green Bay; grandchildren, Michael Koch, Sara Koch, Nicholas Wedyck, Katherine (John) Lange, Kimberly (Steve) Cecchi, Kristan (Brian) Johnson; great grandchildren, Megan, Courtney and Devin Lange; Amanda and Alyssa Cecchi; Sadie and Jacob Johnson.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Richard Koch.
Family and friends may call at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane on Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 5 until 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 until 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2561 Glendale Ave., Howard. Dearest Aunt Florence, cousins and family, We are so sorry that Uncle Bob has passed. He was such a great guy. He will be missed indeed! We have so many wonderful memories of good times with our families together. He is now in heaven looking down on you all. I will always remember his jolly personality and big smile. Florence, we are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing.
We enjoyed him so much when he was
at Cardinal Ridge and Gil and Helen
Henry were there.
When Gil was passing he sat by his door
and prayed for him.
Maybe he and Gil are visiting again.
