Walczyk, Timothy "Tim"

Timothy "Tim" Walczyk, 55, Green Bay resident, left this world to be with the Lord after suffering a heart attack, on May 2, 2017. He was born July 16, 1961, in Green Bay, to Daniel "Don" and Julanne (Schiebel) Walczyk. Tim graduated from SS Peter and Paul Grade School and Preble High School with the class of "80". He was employed for over 40 years with his father and most recently with his brother Jim, at Don's Shoe Service. Tim knew your shoe size the minute you walked through the shoe shop door. Like most Green Bayites, Tim could be found at Packer home games, tucked away in his seat in row 31, section 103 at Lambeau Field. A kind-hearted soul, Tim was the first to lend a hand for many good causes. He was a regular member of SS Peter and Paul parish where he was on the Booyah Crew and was an usher for mass. Tim was an avid Dartball player and enjoyed traveling the country to attend the Cosworth Vega Car Shows. Tim truly loved everything in life; his family functions, parties with friends, and contributing in volunteer events. Tim also handled all aspects of the annual Don's Shoe Shop Fish Fry, a greatly anticipated event that brought together over 90 friends and family members, every year, for the past 30 years. There will be a huge gap in the Walczyk Family as Tim was instrumental in helping his parents around the house. Whatever they needed, they could depend on Tim.

He is survived by his parents, Don and Julanne Walczyk; his sister, Kathy (Murray) Froelich; brothers: Tom, Dan and Jim "Bones" (Kathy) Walczyk, all of Green Bay; Tim was an uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, several aunts and uncles, a cousin, Michael Jadin and a good friend, Tim Prevost.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4:00-8:00 pm Sunday. Parish wake service 7:00 pm Sunday. Visitation will continue on Monday at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 720 N. Baird St., after 9:30 am until time of Mass. Funeral Mass 10:30 am at the church with Fr. Anthony Cirignani, OFM officiating. Burial in the Allouez Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to Tim's family at www.prokowall.com.
