I didn't have an opportunity to visit with you at the funeral this week, but I thought that you might enjoy my little memory of your parents.
I was about 11-12 years old when Jack and Wanda were married. I remember my Mom and Dad (Orville and Irene Appleton}, saying how happy they were that Dad's cousin, Jack, had "finally found a great gal" to marry!

Greetings to Wanda Rose's family ... how I have always loved her name. I can still remember clearly her and Jack's wedding in some ballroom south of Seymour. I specifically remember being able to drink all the orange pop I wanted --FREE! It was a great celebration for a great new couple. Her smile was infectious and she always had something positive to say about whomever was being discussed. In short, she was a real lady and we will miss her. Take care and God bless. Wanda will be missed by many and remembered by even more. She was a hoot and a half and brought smiles to many. May you all find peace knowing she is in the arms of God and that you have one more guardian angel watching over you.
