I knew Connie when we were both younger and part of a group of friends attending wright State University. We had so much fun together. She was such a bright and inspiring person to be around. I left Dayton for the Pacific Northwest. Connie holds such truly beautiful memories in my heart. I just loved her and I was saddened deeply to hear she passed. She was a person who gave to her community.

My condolences to Connie's family. I took care of Connie before they changed the name of the assisted living home where Ms Lockwood was a resident. She was so pleasant to me. She talked about working at News Center 7 a lot. She was dear to my heart. I thought about her a lot after I had left. I asked about her all the time. She was a bright light.
Connie, you will be missed.
