FAIRBORN — Debra K. (Cantrill) Fields, age 71, of Fairborn, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021. She was born March 7, 1950 in Xenia, Ohio; the daughter of the late James Eugene and Doris Joanne (Lovelace) Cantrill. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Penny Sue Gilbert. Debra is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years, Ken Fields; children, Gayle (Kerri) Cantrill, Tricia (Nick) Hager, Shawn (Tammie) Fields, and Clinton Fields; grandchildren, Tristan, Morgan, Olivia, and Molly; brothers, Steven (Ruth Anne) Cantrill and Jim (Mary) Cantrill; brother-in-law, Bruce Gilbert; nephews, Jeremy, Adam, and Marshall; nieces, Tina, Dawn, and Rachael; and numerous extended family members and friends. Debra was a fifth-grade teacher for Five Points Elementary for 30 years until her retirement. During her career, she coached girls' junior high sports and she was a Girl Scouts leader. She was also a member of the Hall of Honors committee. She was highly involved with her loving children and would always be cheering them on during every sports game. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11 AM at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs, Fairborn, OH 45324 with Pastor Eric Meade officiating. Family and friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.BeltonStroup.com.
