JAMESTOWN —Jerry Lee Liming, age 73, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 3, 2026, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Jerry was born on June 28, 1952, to Floyd and Faye Liming, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lynda. He graduated from Greeneview High School. Jerry married the love of his life, Debbie (Flatter) Liming, on November 20, 1979, and together they built a life rooted in family, service, and hard work. He is survived by his devoted wife, Debbie Liming, his daughter Heather (Brian), and their children Olivia and Josie; his son Brandon and grandson Kohen; and his daughter Nikki (Tony), and their children Maddy (and her daughters Lyla and Laynie), Ella, Ayden, Chase, and Brynna. He was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and his family was the center of his world. Jerry proudly served in the United States Army Reserves, reflecting his lifelong sense of duty and commitment to serving others. He retired in 2024 from Custom Cabs & Trailers after a career defined by hard work, dedication, and generosity. He was known as someone who could always be counted on—reliable, humble, and willing to help without hesitation. A servant at heart, Jerry consistently put others before himself. He made a lasting impact on his family, friends, and community through his service as a volunteer firefighter for the Village of Cedarville and through decades of involvement with the Greene County Fair, where he founded the Greene County Junior Fair Board and dedicated himself to mentoring and supporting young people. A service to celebrate his life will begin at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at the Jamestown Church of Christ (152 W. Washington Street, Jamestown, OH 45335), where there will be a time of reflection by family and friends. Gathering for the public will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greene County Junior Fair Board. Checks may be made payable to Greene County Junior Fair Board, 7700 Tanyard Rd. Yellow Springs 45387. Jerry will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
