XENIA — Mary June Allen, 97, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015, at her residence. She was born November 26, 1917, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of John B. and Dessie Smith Moore. She was the oldest member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and retired from W.A Hammond Drierite. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Robert Roscoe Fudge, on November 27, 1944, while serving in the United States Army, in France, during World War II, her second husband, Robert G. Allen, on April 21, 2014, two daughters, Virginia Ann Mason and Peggy Schwartz, and by four brothers, Edmund Moore, Richard Moore, Nelson Moore, and Homer Moore. She is survived by five grandchildren, Robbie Mason, Jimmy Schwartz, Teresa King, Lara (Joe) Dailey, and Kathy Lewis, 12 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 10am, Thursday, March 5, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Rev. Donald H. Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
