XENIA — Taylor Michele "Tay" Channels, age 29, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Grandview Hospital. She was born November 19, 1992 in Kettering, Ohio the daughter of Cecily A. Howell and Dorian E. Channels. Tay is survived by her parents, her son: Keiron Channels; sisters: Tamaia Howell of Dayton; Chloe McGohan of Dayton and Brynlee Channels of CA; grandmother: Raejean Wakefield of Xenia; great grandparents: Della and Clyde Channels; aunts and uncles: Rita Underwood, Devin Howell, Byron and Nickie Hurst, Jon Hurst, Deborah Channels Wray and Eric Channel's cousins: Erin Eavers, Erica Channels, Dakari, Montel, Shy'Ann, and Cha'Day Hurst; Tarez Gray, and Ronald Wakefield III; as well as many more friends and family. Tay was a beautiful soul. She had a smile that could light up the room and was an extremely loyal friend and devoted to her family. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Monday, January 31, 2022 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2040 W. Second St., Xenia. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Monday at the church until the time of service. She will be buried at Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
