BEAVERCREEK — Vivian del Carmen Giese passed away on December 18, 2024, at her residence in Georgetown, KY. Vivian was born on December 15, 1963, in the beautiful town of Jarabacoa, La Vega, Dominican Republic to Francisco Sanchez Muñoz and Salustina Peralta Sanchez. She brought warmth and joy to the world that will resonate through generations. After growing up in the Dominican Republic, Vivian married her husband, Daniel Scott Giese on May 14, 1988. Four years later, she was so proud to become a US citizen. Together, they built a family with love, evident in their three children, Rosa María, Sara Olivia, and Joshua Daniel. Her family cherished her as a beloved wife and wonderful mother. Vivian was the youngest of 21 siblings, including two sisters, Ana and Lucía; and several brothers, William, Tulio, Gregorio, and Romaldo. Her memory will be treasured by her family. Her brother Reyes, her sister Adela Maria, and her parents preceded her in eternal rest. Vivian worked as a chef for over 15 years. Her love language was cooking for others and knowing how to make each person feel special. She also had a passion for children and worked as a pre-school teacher for several years. Vivian was a faithful prayer warrior who had the gift of praying for others and was quick to share a word from the Lord with those she prayed for. Writing her prayers out and always praying with those she talked to on the phone were consistent parts of her daily life. She also loved to decorate for each and every holiday, host parties, and play games. Vivian Giese was a member at Bedford Acres Christian Church. She lived passionately, with every act of love woven into the lives she touched. Her loving, faith-filled life will forever call the hearts of those she has known toward Jesus. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday December 21, 2024, at the Bedford Acres Christian Church, 5414 Lexington Rd., Paris, KY by Bro. Dean Scott. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Friday December 20, 2024, at the church. Pallbearers will be Joshua Giese, Daniel Berry, Emmanuel Wheeler and Francisco Sanchez. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
