James Ragan Obituary
James Elmer Ragan, 91, of Mosheim, passed away Tuesday evening at Greeneville Community Hospital.
He retired from Magnavox after 41 years of service.
He was a member of Mosheim Central Church.
He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years: Betty Jones Ragan; one brother: Tommy Ragan of Illinois; nieces: Linda Ragan, Joyce Wilhoit, and Paula Noe; nephews: Aaron Ragan and Barry Wilson; and several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Toy and Catherine Ragan; two brothers: Kenneth Ragan and Paul Ragan; one sister: Reba Wilson.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. in Doughty-Stevens Chapel with the Rev. Jim Fain officiating.
Interment will follow in Mosheim Central Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Christian Derry, Chris Derry, Dillon Shelton, Mark Crum, James Gass, Dustin Jones, and Kameron Combs.
